Every once in a while, I get into a “kick” of listening to a certain artists or album a whole bunch. Recently, my musical obsession has been folk singer Josh Ritter. Ritter currently sits as one of the most underrated songwriters out there, and continuously puts out amazing, touching, music. I met Ritter while he was campaigning for his uncle (who serves in local government in PA) at Kutztown University, where all us Lis Off-ers called home. He was a genuinely nice guy, and I really missed the chance to talk to him a bit more or get him to do something with Kutztown University Radio (where me and Mike Pop were involved). Instead of doing a straight up list this week, I figured I’d give you guys a shot to learn about a great talent you may not know.
