The Evolution of Kanye West’s Fashion

Kanye West, the self-proclaimed “Louis Vutton Don,” has seemingly always had an eye for fashion ever since his first album, 2004’s The College Dropout. He was infamous for making the preppy style chic for anybody, especially black males, and would frequently have his collar popped and Louis Vutton backpack strapped on. But that innocent, upper-echelon look faded rather quickly once West moved on to his subsequent musical projects. And really, from that point on, there was no looking back to the Ralph Lauren polo shirt era. With each album West has released, it seems his fashion sense has only gotten keener, and sometimes, more excessive. But, if you think about it, isn’t that Kanye West?

A look into Mr. West’s threads throughout the years.
